CVI for Hillerød Fodbold Elite: Built from Ambition
Hillerød Fodbold isn’t just a club—it’s a story of grit, growth, and local pride. Rising from Series 2 to the NordicBet Liga in under a decade, they’ve earned their nickname “Slotsbyens hold” (The Castle City’s Team), playing in the shadow of Frederiksborg Castle—and doing it all without a home stadium. That fact alone speaks volumes about the spirit of the club.
Our task was to create a visual identity that could match that level of determination—ambitious, grounded in place, and built to grow. The CVI draws inspiration from the city’s landmark, Frederiksborg Castle. The primary font, Cormorant, is rooted in the aesthetic of the castle’s third reconstruction era, giving the identity a historical backbone with a modern edge.
The design system pairs this heritage with sharp, contemporary contrast—clean grids, dynamic graphics, and a palette that feels both athletic and refined. It all comes together in a brand that’s unmistakably Hillerød: hard-working, fearless, and always pushing forward.
